Our Story
Parents Against Child Trafficking or "PACT" was founded in 2016 when it became critically obvious to one mother of three that most parents, including herself at the time, were truly unaware of how easily their children could be trafficked.
She also recognized the need to build a support system to equip and encourage parents to protect their children against traffickers and other predators.
In the 1980's, the organization MADD (Mother's Against Drunk Driving) encouraged teens to make a pledge with their parents to call for a ride home if they were ever too intoxicated to drive, no questions asked. In recalling this concept PACT Founder, Barbara Gregory, was inspired to created a parent-to-parent pledge, or "pact".
our founder
PACT's Founder, Barbara Gregory, has an evident passion for people and for justice. When she learned that her own daughter was at risk for being trafficked simply because she wasn't aware of the dangers that surrounded her daughter every day, she knew she had to take action.
Her eyes had been opened. She couldn't imagine living the nightmare of losing a child and was going to do everything in her power to equip every parent to avoid that same fate.
Barbara wants parents to know that she understands the struggles of raising children and teenagers in a society where phones are friends and relationships are managed by text messaging. But no amount of groaning from her children is going to keep her from putting protective barriers in place - barriers that work hard at keeping predators out of her home, both physically and virtually.
The children in YOUR care need you, just as much as Barbara's children need her. Don't leave your child's safety up to chance. Take a stand and take action. Join Barbara and Make a PACT today!
